Summary
Webtastic is the first social bookmarker released for the PSP, and later remade for Android devices. It contains various social media sites optimized for the device you’re using.
Background
First released on July 2012, it was the only social bookmarker for that device. Using the OpenTube engine, it was hard to control the menu, because there was no cursor, and you couldn’t see which link you clicked. The bug has been troubleshooted by being able to visit the web version.
After the first release, the second release was ported to two different devices; iOS and PC through a Google Chrome extension. An Android only release soon would follow, which got positive feedback.
Currently only the PSP and Android versions are being supported, with the Android being the main version. The Android version will be released and developed by Lumodokate Studios.
All the Android related stuff will be moved to Lumodokate Studios’ website, and this blog will keep posting about the PSP version.
Trivia
- The logo has been heavily inspired by Simply Webtastic‘s logo, and has been changed 5 times.
- The Android logo of Webtastic looks different than the PSP logo.
